Hi folks. I’m back from my drunken ramble the other day. I am not drunk right now and I don’t intend to get drunk, at least not today. I’ve noticed that I don’t feel well in my gut when I drink alcohol, which has given me yet another reason to not drink alcohol. Look, there are absolute, almost at least, zero heatlh benefits from drinking alcohol, and the only thing I get out of it is being drunk, but other than that I’ve really got no reason for drinking alcohol, and I guess if I don’t get drunk from alcohol that I’ve in a sense got an even lesser reason for drinking it, it kinda becomes a lose-lose situation. See, if I at least get a little or even very drunk, I can at least walk away feeling that I was in a win-lose situation, but if I don’t get drunk, it’s just a plain lose-lose situation, and that just sucks. I can’t write when I’m drunk, which is a good thing, because a lot of writers, not that I consider myself one, do claim to be better writers when they drink, but since I don’t become a better writer when I drink I must regard myself as lucky, because everything that is positive about alcohol will push me, and you, closer to becoming an alcoholic, which isn’t very helpful. Then there are other substances that I’ve not tried out, mostly because they’re banned and because I haven’t got the balls to try them out. But if you’ve spent any time reading this blog, you’ll know that I am fairly libertarian and I don’t care much for banning stuff, just because some government dudes don’t like people having fun. Yes, I know that they’ll claim that heroin for instance causes you to become addicted, but if someone wants to make that choice then I don’t know why I should try to stop them, at least not physically. Like, I don’t recommend anyone to take heroin—unless they’re trying to lose weight, which I actually didn’t—but I won’t try to control your life, because I don’t want to live your life; I’m perfectly busy with my own failure of a life. But seriously, the government will always come up with excuses as to why they need to limit our freedoms and they almost never let that control go once they’ve grabbed it. I don’t know what I will do if I am required to use an ID to access the internet, but that might likely be the end of the internet for me, because I don’t see myself ever using an ID to be free. One infuriating article I read was from a police officer, and I don’t like the police, that wanted to force people to kinda earn a driver's license for the internet. I am just disgusted by these people; they don’t make me angry anymore, they just make me feel disgusted. I don’t understand how a person can think that it’s a lovely idea to constantly be controlled by the government, but plenty of people love that idea, and it’s unsettling to say the least. Of course, Chat Control which originally was a Swedish proposal by the Social Democratic politician Ylva Johansson wants the EU, the extra government as I refer to it, to scan every email, every text, every picture, and everything you do online, which means that according the the Swedish Social Democratic Party, you are guilty of pedphilia until proven otherwise—which btw is the primordial justification for the state, a topic I’ll return to later if I have time—because the proposal claims to want to “curb child pornography” online. I don’t want to rehas why this is an evil proposal, and I don’t feel that I want to make the utilitarian argument against this proposal since I am an anti-utilitarian, but I will just address the utilitarian aspect of that proposal by saying this: if you are a pedophile in the business of producing, sending, and recieveing child pornogrhaphy, you’re likely not using the normal internet, which means that this proposal won’t capture you at any rate, but it does mean that 99.9% of people that are not guilty will have their integrity and freedoms completely violated by the government. I will just come out and say it again: Child porpnograhy should not be illegal, not because I don’t find it disgusting, but because I don’t accept laws that make it illegal to send stuff, recieve stuff, and watch stuff; such laws are too totalitarian for me. I don’t like child pornograhy, but it should be the people making the child pornoghrahy that should be arrested and prosecuted for it, which would end this entire issue to begin with. I don’t know if this proposal will pass, but I hope it doesn’t, and it has already failed multiple times, and they keep and keep bringing it back, and it’s starting to be a bit strange at this point. If your proposal has failed multiple times, when do you go, huh, maybe we shouldn't try to pass this, or maybe we should try something else, and if the wish/motivation actually was to “protect” children you’d think these people would be more urgent and try other alternatives to actually protect children. But that’s the problem with the justification of the state to begin with: you are held guilty for something you haven’t done; that’s it that’s the whole reason for there being a state at least in theory. What is this crime that you are being held guilty for that you likely haven’t committed? Not following the horde, but you’ve more likely than not already fallen right into that line, haven't you? You are essentially guilty for being human, and as such you aren’t allowed to be free; other humans have decided that you are going to live in their prison whether you like it or not, and the fact that you probably don’t have the ability to live another way, because of their prison, they take it as you agreeing with their prison. It’s essentially a catch-22, you can’t win when it comes to freedom and being human, and anything and everything that actually would make you free is already made illegal or inaccessible to you. But y’know, people have Stockholm-syndrome and they are afraid of not living under the jackboot of the state, because they believe the propaganda and the lies being told to them. Look, I often also fall into defending the state and I kinda need to push myself out of it, that’s how powerful it is. Anyways, I continue to pray for and hope that the Social Democratic Labourers Party of Sweden, which kinda is its official name in Swedish, is stomped into the ground and wiped out, but in lieu of that I wish that they don’t win the next election, but then again, the other parties aren’t much better it seems, even though one of them at least claims to be “liberal”.
